acondas supports “Doctors Without Borders”
In Germany, we feel the weight of and complain about the negative impacts of the current crises. But while we complain, we often forget that most people in the world are worse off than us, and many are much worse off.
The acondas team supports a global organisation which provides medical and humanitarian aid to those most in need – in more than 70 countries: Médecins Sans Frontières. Last December, we invited donations from our acondas team – and then matched the amount collected. Through this fund-raising effort, we raised 4,000 euros, which we have donated to Doctors Without Borders to support their urgent relief projects.
Our warmest thanks to the acondas team for your donations. And a special thank you to the tens of thousands of voluntary aid workers of Doctors Without Borders who risk their own lives every day to support people most in need in crisis regions around the globe – an admirable contribution to a better, more sustainable world.
