Leadership in Projects

The role of a manager in a project is complex. In everyday project work, new challenges and situations constantly arise that require different competencies.
Our “Leadership in Projects” training gives you an overview of the different leadership roles, shows you methods for motivating your employees and dealing with conflict situations. You will learn to reflect on your own leadership style and to adapt it to the situation. The training content is taught and practiced using concrete project examples, and the findings are reflected on in the group. The training is also based on a lively exchange of experiences between the participants and the highly experienced acondas trainers.

The leadership role in a project requires special attention. In our training, you will receive answers to the following questions, among others:

  • What constitutes leadership in a project and why is communication indispensable for leadership?
  • As a leader, how can I motivate my employees?
  • How do I deal with challenging project members?

We would like to sensitize you to the leadership role in the project and teach you leadership skills, principles of employee motivation and methods for dealing with role conflicts:

  • Perception of leadership roles and tasks
  • Situational leadership of heterogeneous groups of employees
  • Feedback and interviewing
  • Motivation of employees in projects
  • Conflict resolution and dealing with resistance

  • Be empowered to lead and motivate employees confidently in conflict situations
  • Reflect on and develop your own leadership style
  • Develop the confidence to handle leadership roles and tasks

  • Practical exercises to apply the contents in a practical setting
  • Discussion of the results in the plenum
  • Exchange of experiences between participants and acondas trainers
