acondas joins Ramboll Group

On November 1st, acondas joined Danish-based Ramboll Group, a global engineering, architecture, and management consultancy company. As “Partner for Sustainable Change” Ramboll has more than 18,000 experts in engineering, architecture, and management consulting that create sustainable solutions for companies, governments, and public institutions all over the world. As part of Ramboll Management Consulting (RMC), we will combine our complementary competencies in strategy implementation and project & change management with Ramboll ’s outstanding technological skills and in-depth know-how in sustainability topics. Combined, we can provide a much broader end-to-end service offering to address our clients’ core transformational sustainability challenges from strategy to execution level.

Awarded as Best Consultants

For the 5th time in a row, acondas was named one of the Best Consultants. brandeins and Statista awarded us in six categories in 2023: Organization, Change Management, Sustainability, Digitalization, Energy and Environment, and Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry.

2022

acondas@campus

acondas strengthens personal exchange with hundreds of students. Through cooperations with the universities, joint projects, expert talks on our focus topics as well as trainings and workshops, we were able to pass on our knowledge and have many inspiring conversations with the students.

2021

Sustainability shapes acondas

In April 2021, acondas published its first sustainability report for fiscal year 2020 reporting on our measures in the areas of human rights and working conditions, environmental protection as well as corruption and data protection. In parallel, our expert teams developed our acondas IMPACT approach to support our customers in implementing their sustainability strategies.

2021

10th anniversary & new headquarter

acondas turned 10 years old on July 1. With our 10th anniversary, we moved into our new headquarters in Düsseldorf in 2021. On November 11, we celebrated our anniversary with our employees as well as many customers, partners and alumni in Düsseldorf.

2020

acondas in remote mode

The COVID 19 pandemic forced us to switch our consulting work to "remote mode". We continued to support all client projects without interruption during the pandemic period, but in virtual mode from our home offices. In the process, we tested many new virtual collaboration formats and introduced them to our customers.

2019

UN Global Compact

Climate change, environmental protection, fair working conditions: Topics that have become mainstays in the media in recent years. Sustainability is also a high priority for us. acondas joined the UN Global Compact in 2019 and has since committed to complying with minimum social and ecological standards.

2018

Professional principles & agile acondas

Since 2018, our work has been guided by seven professional principles. These guarantee consistently high standards for our customers and serve as shared guidelines for our employees. With agile acondas, acondas has also adopted a completely agile approach internally. Our customers also benefit from the professional approaches developed in our knowledge teams and the experience gained in the use of Scrum methods.

2017

Opening acondas Learning Lab

At our Learning Lab, we have been offering a great location for our training courses since 2017. Open spaces with innovative equipment are the ideal environment for our customers and employees to apply innovative training methods to project management (classic and agile), change management and soft skills. Since introducing our customer training courses in 2013, demand has grown steadily. We held our 50th customer training session in 2017.

2016

acondas values & awards

In 2016, our employees defined our internal values "team spirit, development, openness, and freedom" as part of a bottom-up initiative. These four values still form the basis for the mutual interaction and cooperation among all employees at acondas today. Thanks to this development, among other things, kununu awarded us the "open company" distinction. In addition, acondas received the quality seal "cardea audited performance (cap)" and "cs accredited" for outstanding consulting services.

2015

Continuous development

The first acondas-consultants passed the PMI certification in project management. Internally, our colleagues also have a wide range of professional and methodological trainings, which is constantly being expanded.

2014

The 100th customer project

In 2014, acondas supported the 100th customer project and had, among other things, its first non-European project assignment in Singapore. At that time, the acondas team comprised around 30 consultants.

2012/13

Opening Berlin & Munich offices

Thanks to increasing customer demand, the acondas team grew to 15 employees in its second year. To meet this need, we opened a second office in Berlin. Shortly after the successful completion of our 50th customer project, we opened our fourth office in Munich.

2011

acondas founded

The "acondas" adventure began in 2011 for the founders Dr. Andreas Florissen and Dr. Jörg Fengler. Building on many years in management consulting and subsequent work in energy companies in Germany, they identified a niche in the consulting industry market for customer support during the project implementation phase. And there is great demand from customers. In 2011, acondas started its first customer project with its headquarters in Düsseldorf and a second office in Hamburg.
