UPDATE: Click here for our Sustainability Report for 2022:

In 2021, acondas was once again able to reach important milestones on the road to sustainability, as you can read about in detail in our second, recently published sustainability report. In addition, this year, for the first time, we were recognized by brand eins and Statista as Best Consultants in the field of sustainability consulting.

As a company, we take responsibility for the environment, society and future generations. Since 2019, we have affirmed this through our membership in the UN Global Compact. In partial fulfillment of the Communication of Progress requirement, we recently published our second sustainability report. The UN Global Compact pursues the vision of an inclusive and sustainable global economy, to which we want to contribute.

Introduction to our sustainability report

In our 20-page sustainability report for 2021, we explain in detail how we have implemented our sustainability strategy, which we defined using a materiality analysis. In the process, we were able to identify four key areas for action:

  • Increasing the well-being of employees
  • Reduction of the ecological footprint
  • Implementing sustainability in customer projects
  • Ensuring compliance and data protection

The four main chapters of the report clearly illustrate the dual mission of our direct and indirect promotion of the ten principles of the UN Global Compact: on the one hand, making our day-to-day consulting activities ever more sustainable, and on the other hand, supporting our customers in implementing their respective sustainability strategies. We were already able to fully achieve many of the sustainability targets we set for ourselves in 2020 in 2021. These include, for example, the expansion of our employee development program (new training formats, more active use of the individual training budget) or the introduction of a bike leasing offer to promote the mobility of our employees while reducing our CO2 emissions.

Section from Chapter 3 – Reducing Our Ecological Footprint

We will implement many additional measures this year, such as reducing our travel as part of more flexible working and consulting models, and further professionalizing our sustainability reporting.
