Team acondas at the ZeroHungerRun Challenge 2021

Under the motto “Colleagues, Alumni, Family and Friends”, 18 runners representing Team acondas participated in the Welthungerhilfe ZeroHungerRun Challenge from 5 to 9 May. The goal of the “30 minute challenge” couldn’t have been simpler: run as far as possible in 30 minutes. Runners from our four office locations were thus part of a worldwide community of 6,445 athletes.

In keeping with Corona regulations, the participants started individually on a route of the chosen. Afterwards, the distance each person ran in 30 minutes was uploaded to the organiser’s platform. The thing that makes the ZeroHungerRun special is that all registration fees and voluntary payments will be donated to various Welthungerhilfe projects, such as the nutrition initiative, which gives people access to healthy and sufficient food and supports people in crisis situations by providing training in sustainable cultivation methods for adaptation to climate change or the use of improved seeds.

We congratulate all runners of the acondas team who accumulated a total of 100 km and reached 4th place! We are already looking forward to next year’s ZeroHungerRun – hopefully on site at one of the local runs in Cologne or Bonn.
